BIO
Evelyn was born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. When she was 17 years old, she
graduated from high school with a Safety Officer certification. She had worked for multinational companies, and was responsible for the safety of more than 400 employees.
Evelyn then came to the United States to study English at the BYU English
Language Center. Eventually, in 2015, Evelyn left to Joao Pessoa, Brazil for a year and a half to serve a mission for the LDS Church. There, she was able to improve and use many leadership skills, and was able to train over 100 missionaries.
In Fall of 2017, Evelyn will graduate with an Associates of Science in Business from LDS Business College. She currently works for the LDS Global Service Center, assisting customers, members and authorities from various countries. Evelyn is also passionate about serving others, dancing, and traveling the world.

BIO
The oldest of eight children, Spencer Whitworth studies Finance and Logic at BYU, located in Provo, Utah. Much of Spencer's work experience involves analyzing investments and advising on corporate acquisitions. Some of his experiences include positions with banks in San Francisco and China, along with investment funds in New York City and Liberia, Africa. Ultimately, Spencer's goal is to start an investment fund that provides capital and cultivates managerial talent in emerging markets. Spencer served an LDS mission in Malaga, Spain, where he worked with individuals from all countries in Latin America.

A week after being born in Tenosique, Mexico, Daniel moved to Guetamela, where he lived until age 17. The second of three children, Daniel found the opportunity to study in the USA thanks to the incredible generosity of family friends. Danny is currently a senior at BYU studying Finance.
Daniel has participated in Guatemalan service projects every summer while growing up, He regularly traveled to rural areas in order to assist populations in the Polochic region. In addition to passions for soccer, cooking , and film, Daniel studies poverty alleviation as a member of the Social Innovation Leadership Council at BYU.

Daniel served a mission for the LDS Church in El Salvador and Belize. Some of Daniel's work experience include banking internships in New York and asset management programs in Asia. He is particularly excited about Latin American banking and small business development.

Humberto is studying mechanical engineering at BYU Provo. He is currently applying to various Masters and Doctorate programs. This year, he was hired as a research assistant at Purdue University.
On campus, Humberto is involved in various clubs and organiszations. He is the president of SHPE BYU ( Sociedad de Ingenieros Hispanicos Profesionales), he leads the service committee of Tau Beta Pi (the oldest engineering honors society in the USA), and is an active member of Phi Kappa Phi (The oldest multidisciplinary honor society in the USA). Last year Humberto was selected to be part of BYU's President's Leadership Council Mentored Student Program. Long-term, Humberto is interested in developing financially viable methods of producing clean energy..

Flor Vargas was born in Mexicali, Baja California, but raised in Mexico City. From 2012-2013, Flor participated in a mission service program in Montevideo, Uruguay, where she trained and assisted more than 250 volunteers from all over the world. During the program, Flor was selected as the first female AP (Assistant to the President), a significant managerial position.
After completing her mission, Flor graduated in International Business from Tecnológico de Monterrey University in Mexico. Flor is currently studying Project Management at the LDS Business College. In 2011 she was invited to be part of the lead organizer on the committee for the first Especially For Youth (EFY) conference in Mexico where she coordinated and directed meetings for over 100 counselors. Flor also worked in the LDS Missionary Training Center for 3 and a half years training more that 300 volunteer missionaries assigned to serve in Mexico, Central and South America, and the United States.

Austin is the second of six children. Raised in Kansas City, Austin was always curious about the biological sciences. After graduating high school, Austin did two years of service in Chile which fueled his desire to improve the quality of life that people around him live. Austin is now studying bioinformatics at BYU and will apply to schools of medicine in 2020. In his free time, Austin loves to travel the world as well as train for marathons.

Brian grew up in South Korea. While in high school, he studied and became fluent in English. Brian's dream has always been to study in the U.S.; now he pursues an Information Systems degree at Brigham Young University. Prior to beginning college, Brian served two years with the South Korean military and spent another two years as a missionary in Mauritius.

Carson is a finance student at BYU and is in his junior year. The oldest of six, Carson grew up in Liberty, Missouri. After starting an entertainment-tech business with his family, Carson left Missouri to do volunteer work in Brazil for two years. After returning, Carson worked for two investment funds, specializing in public and private equity. After finishing school, Carson will work for Investment bank Lazard in San Francisco.
Personally, Carson is a talented violinist, an experienced traveler, and an experimenter with minimalism. In his life, Carson has performed with six orchestras, visited 15+ countries, and lived in his car for 6 months.

Andrew Wight is from Camas, Washington in the Pacific Northwest. He attended Camas High School, home of the Papermakers. Andrew now studies business marketing at Brigham Young University located in Provo, Utah. Currently, Andrew works for a small watch company where he heads the online marketing plan. He directs traffic to physical and online stores through email, social media outlets, and mall advertising.
Previously, Andrew served as a volunteer representative for the LDS church in two West African countries. He spent one year in Ghana and then was moved to re-open the Liberian country for proselyting work While in Liberia, Andrew supervised and trained 90 missionaries in planning, budgeting, community projects, goal setting, and problem solving.

Richard Rolapp was born in Washington DC and raised in Nashville, TN where he attended Ensworth High School. He is now a sophomore at BYU where he is majoring in Finance and minoring in Mathematics and Chinese. From 2015-2017, Richard served as a missionary for the LDS church. While in Taiwan, he studied and learned to speak Mandarin Chinese.
Personally, Richard enjoys playing guitar, fishing, and spending time in the outdoors. Richard has also summited Mount Kilimanjaro, the world's tallest free-standing mountain, which is located in Tanzania.

BIO
Mitchell was born in Boston, Massachusetts, and spent his teenage years living in the Middle East and Asia after his father joined the US State Department as a diplomat. It was overseas where he grew to love foreign affairs as he interacted with his international peers in school and participated in various humanitarian projects. He served a two year volunteer LDS mission to Australia working with the Vietnamese community, and upon returning, went on to reinstate the Vietnamese Student Association at Brigham Young University.
Mitchell currently studies public health and plans to apply to medical school. He has volunteered in hospitals in Utah and Cairo, Egypt, where his family currently resides. He plans to travel to Vietnam next year to intern with the Asia Injury Prevention Foundation in Ho Chi Minh City, where he will use his acquired language skills to benefit the organization.

Tito Galvez was born in Guatemala in Dec. 8, 1992. He is the oldest brother to three siblings. He lived in Guatemala until he was 9, when his family commenced a series of moves to Arizona, Kentucky, and back to Guatemala.
Tito served an ecclesiastical service mission for the LDS Church in New Jersey, where he served populations speaking Portuguese, Spanish, and English. Currently, he's studying Sociology at BYU with minors in Nonprofit Management and International Development. He has interned with the LDS Church's Self Reliance initiative, both as an analyst in charge of program feedback from more than 6 countries, as well as a group facilitator.
Tito loves to play soccer, read, hike, explore, and laugh.

Joseph was born in Arizona and grew up in Alpine Utah. After attending Lone Peak high school. Joseph Served an LDS mission in the Adriatic North which encompasses the countries of Croatia, Serbia, Bosnia, Montenegro and Slovenia.
Joseph is now a Sophomore at BYU double majoring in Business Strategy and Political Science. He is heavily involved on campus in the Business Strategy Club and is a member of the Presidents Leadership Council. He speaks 5 languages including Croatian, Serbian, and Slovenian.

Joseph's work experience includes positions as an International Business Analyst and social venture consulting. Upon graduating, Joseph plans to go into management consulting. In his free time, Joseph is an avid road biker and loves hiking and running.
